An Adorable Baby Raccoon

It's the beginning of December, cold weather approaching, and finally a break from the babies...NOT IN FLORIDA!! Here is a picture of a 2 1/2 week old raccoon that just came in a few days ago. We will feed, house and care for him for almost 5 months when he will be able to survive in the wild on his own. We will start him out on formula, five feedings per day, which he will be on for about 8-12 weeks. When he starts eating we will serve him puppy chow, chicken, eggs, apples, bananas, grapes, and fish to name a few favorites. In total, his entire rehabilitation will cost approximately $750.00.
If you would like to sponsor this little guy please email for more information. Sponsors will receive updated pictures and other statistics. Florida Wildlife Hospital cares for about 150 raccoons per year.
